Feelin' Blue

I found this nice blue polish on sale at Walgreens for $1! Yay! It's a brand I've never tried before, Sinful Colors. I used the shade Why Not. The polish comes out darker than on the Walgreens site, as you can see below. I really liked this blue and it WASN'T GLITTERY SHIMMERY OR SPARKLY. I KNOW, RIGHT? It's so pretty though :D

Ooh, ahh... nice, right? I love them! So much!

*Sparkle Sparkle*

So I got a pretty cool new glittery top coat recently (shocker, right?), Pure Ice Cheatin. The polish itself is clear but it has LOTS of little purple glitters and the occasional blue glitters. It's fan-tab-u-lous! <3

Because I wanted my nails to be more purpley than blue I used Sally Hansen Purple Potion. But another day I'll try it over my Sally Hansen Blue It for a more blue effect. But ya it's pretty glittery and sparkly and gorgeous and I paint my nails way too much, hehe :)

I'm Obsessed - Divine Swine

Hello Fashionistas!
I'm finally doing a post on my favorite glitter polish, Divine Swine by OPI!!!

AMAZING, RIGHT?!?!? Well actually I don't think the pictures do it any kind of justice... I used either two or three coats of Divine Swine over one coat of Wet n' Wild Frosted Fuchsia. It is so glittery it's ridiculous. It's like, blinding on a bright day. It's probably the greatest thing ever. Pictures will never be able to do it justice so why don't you do yourself a favor and go buy it and paint your nails? ;)

I Have Little Watermelons For Toes.

Buenos dias/tardes/noches Fashionistas!

The other day I guess I was missing the wonderful warm weather and bright colors of summer because I painted my toes like watermelons! <3

TAH-DUMMM!!

I used Wet n' Wild Dream Poppy for the pink and Pure Ice Wild Thing and some plain black nail polish, a black sharpie would work too! and a clear top coat. I did two coats each of the pink and green. :)
I LOVE MY TOES!!!

The Hunger Games + China Glaze Nail Polish Collection!

So probably most of you have heard about the fabulous new China Glaze collection coming out March 1st... It's for The Hunger Games!! One my favorite book series turned into a movie <3 I'm pretty excited. my friends and I are already planning our midnight adventure to the local theater to see it! (Even though we have school the next day, but it's worth it!!)

My favorites are probably Electrify, Riveting, Harvest Moon, Smoke and Ashes, and Stone Cold. They're all so fabulous!!!
But I gotta get me some Electrify. I think it will go well with the Bake You Pies shirt I plan on buying for the occasion xD

Anyways, so which colors do you plan on buying? Ulta and Sally Beauty Supply should be selling them for around $7 a pop.

In this pic my nails are actually done with those fantab Sally Hansen real nail polish strip thingymajigs!! They turned out alright.. here's the pros and cons:
pros: AMAZING patterns!!!
SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM!!!
Lasts a while!!

cons: They don't stretch very well... they tear :<
PAIN IN THE BUTT TO TAKE OFF!!!
sorta expensive for 1 mani's worth

Sooo that's my little review. Anyways but the are pretty fab! The one's I'm wearing in this pic are the holiday ones. The strips are silver with red poinsettias :)

In this pic my nails are painted with Designer... De Better by OPI. It's from the Muppets Collection! Which I love love looooovvvvveeee!! <3 It's a shimmery silver with little teensy tiny red shimmers. It's pretty rad. Thinking of trying some shatter over it, yeah?

Well, I also painted my nails with the oh so fabulous Divine Swine by OPI- also from the Muppets Collection! IT'S PURE GLITTER!!! OMG!! It's like... purpleish pinkish magentaish little glitters with big chunky silver glitters!! EEP!! It's fab and I should've taken a picture. But no picture could have done it justice. I two coats of the great glitter polish over one coat of Louvre Me Louvre Me Not by OPI. So seriously you NEED to go out and buy these colors. Or stay at home and buy them from the links... But then paint them like how I did. seriously. It's MeSmErIzInG O_o

Anyways, much love to my fine Fashionistas!

Glittery Winter Nails!!

It's no lie that glitter nail polish is pretty popular right now. Glitter polish looks good with many outfits and adds a fun and sassy pop, right at your fingertips! I recently painted my nails dark blue and verrrrryyyyy glittery! :D

What I did was took a dark shimmery sapphire blue nail polish - 1 coat, (Sally Hansen Blue It, to be exact!) then took a really clear polish with a blue tint that had LOTS OF GLITTER in it and did 3 coats of that, then a top coat. It took a really long time to dry... But the end result was worth it!

Glitter nails are pretty popular lately. I've been seeing more advertisements and glitter polishes at stores lately. And I've seen lots of people wearing them! So here's the polishes/similar to the polishes I used, and some other crazy glitter polishes :) Another great thing about glitter polishes is they really brighten up your fingertips in dreary winter weather.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Blue It, 0.4 Fluid Ounce
Sally Hansen Blue It - Amazon.com $2.67

I actually couldn't find the glitter polish I used. I don't know what brand it is or anything and I couldn't find one similar... But here's more GLITTER!!!

2011 Holiday "The Muppets" Gone Gonzo! C11

China Glaze Doll House 80432 (glitter)
China Glaze Doll House - Amazon.com $2.98

China Glaze Nova 80425 (glitter)
China Glaze Nova - Amazon.com $2.90

OPI New Summer 2011 Collection I Lily Love You
OPI I Lily Love You - Amazon.com $5

Essie Holiday 2011 Luxe Effects
Essie Luxe Effects Set In Stones - Amazon.com $7.35

And if THAT doesn't quench your glitter-lust then the rest of the new Muppets Collection by OPI should! About half of them are ridiculously glittery, just the way I like it! :)

Enjoy your glittery nails, Fashionistas!

Painted Piggies + New Shoes!

Heyylo Fashionistas! I actually tried to upload these pics Sunday but ran out of time and yesterday Blogger wasn't letting me upload any of my pics :-( But it's all good now! :-)
So I wanted to share with you my pretty toes I painted on Saturday!

I took these pics on Sunday because when I paint my own nails I always think they look better the next day!
I used the color Poppy Dream by Wet n' Wild and used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Invisible as a bottom/top coat. I don't really like Wet n' Wild nail polish (the 99-cent kind) - it always tends to chip even if I use a top and bottom coat :-/ Despite my rocky relationship with this brand, I still bought it because firstly: It was such an amazing bright pink! And secondly: It was only 99 cents! Oh and uh, yeah- my left pinky toe is actually two-toes-in-one in case you were wondering, making eleven tootsies in total :-P

I decided to paint my little sisters piggies too! She has such teeny tosies! I know the polish brand on my sister's toes is BonBons but I don't know the color... But the color is a cute pearly baby pink.

Look at my new shoes! I got them on Sunday and they are SO CUTE! I had them delivered free to my local Payless store (because it's free!) and the ladies that worked there were like "OMG they are SO CUTE!" And  yes these are the same shoes that are featured in my Fantabulously Floral post from last Thursday. Don't my pretty toes poking out just scream summer? :-)
